Angela Helen (Memoli) Cook

Angela H. Cook (nee Memoli), age 84, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023.

Angela is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Donald C. Cook; and her parents, Luciano and Elsie Memoli.

Survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Kelly) Cook of Joliet, IL, Patrick (Suzanne) Cook of Huntley, IL and Michael (Tammy) Cook of Summer, IA; daughters, Karen Giorgi of Fischer, TX and Kathleen (Louis) Rios of Joliet, IL; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 sister; 1 brother; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Angela was a wonderful homemaker for many years beginning with her time spent as the devoted wife of an active-duty member of the United States Army. After Donald was relieved of his active duty, Angela became employed at St. Joseph Medical Center for 17 years. She was loving and caring mother who was active in the PTA and many of her children’s activities and events. Angela will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Angela’s life will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 Illinois Rte 59, Plainfield, IL 60544 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
