Dorothy Jane Capiz

Dorothy J. Capiz (Jungers), age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in Winfield, IL. “Dottie” is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Frances Jungers, and her stepson, Bryant Capiz. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Capiz; sons, Louis Rios (Kathleen) of Plainfield IL, Shawn Rios of Chicago, IL, her stepson Steven Capiz (Skyler) of Evanston, IL, two granddaughters, one sister, one brother, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dorothy was a wonderful, devoted wife, an incredibly loving and caring mother and cherished friend and co-worker for many years during her career in accounting spanning several companies. She also spent her time caring for the homeless and less fortunate. She will be dearly missed and remembered.

A memorial service in celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held on Saturday, April 6 at St. Isidore Church at 10:45 a.m., located at 427 W Army Trail Rd. Bloomingdale, IL 60108.
