“Susie”

Age 67 of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2023 with family by her side at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Born June 8, 1956 in Joliet. Susie was a loving mother, sister and daughter. She supported herself and her two daughters later in her life. Susie was a very devoted grandmother that loved her grandkids more than anything in the world. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by daughters: Catherine Kozi-O'Donnell and Elizabeth (Erik) Peterson; grandchildren: Olivia, Benji, Claire, Elise, Caitlin, Ethan, and Nolan; her mother: Alice; sisters: Joanne and Patty, and brothers: Billy, Jimmy and Donnie.

Susie was preceded in death by her father: John, who she adored and will now be reunited with.

Per Susie’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
